FIRE PREVENTION & SAFETY PROGRAM

Each year, the Stanley Hose Company proudly presents its Fire Prevention Program to the primary students at Sherman Central School. During this engaging, hands-on event, firefighters and student volunteers share valuable lessons about fire safety — including how and when to call 911, the importance of smoke detectors, how to “Stop, Drop, and Roll,” and what to do if a fire occurs at home. Our goal is to teach children life-saving knowledge in a fun and memorable way while helping them feel comfortable and confident around firefighters and emergency personnel. This long-standing partnership between the Stanley Hose Company and Sherman Central School continues to strengthen community awareness and safety for our youngest residents.
