SHC Fire Police
The Eyes and Ears of the Fire Service

Always Ready
The Stanley Hose Company Volunteer Fire Department’s Fire Police play a critical role in the safety and success of our emergency responses. Often the first to secure a scene, our Fire Police are the eyes and ears of the department.
Their primary responsibility is controlling traffic and ensuring the safety of both emergency responders and the public. By managing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians, they create a safe working environment for our firefighters and EMS personnel — protecting their backs while they perform life-saving work.
In addition to traffic control, Fire Police members provide scene security, assist with crowd management, and offer vital support services during extended operations.
Though they often work behind the scenes, our Fire Police are a valuable asset to the Stanley Hose Company and an essential part of our emergency response team.
